Magical Miniatures

If you love all things magical and miniature you are in the right place.

About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. Thanks for visiting.

A bit more stumpy

I have almost finished stumpy. I've still the jar to set up etc but there's no more to do to the stump except a little touching up.

A little further on...

I have stopped coughing long enough to do a bit of painting. The Alice tribute is coming along. Painted up I like this so far.

I've also painted the mushrooms at the top of stumpy.

A tribute to Alice in wonderland

I have always loved the story of Alice in wonderland. The character that I am making is the caterpillar that sat smoking a hookah on a mushroom. Once painted I will also be making a drink me bottle to go into this small pickle! and before it goes into a jar i am sure I will have made some more things too.

Some more stumpy

I have been ill and busy with kids and work so not much time spent on minis. Even so i've managed to get a bit more paint on stumpy and finish the pebbles and the flowers.
As I see it coming together I like it more.
